Las Mujeres de Manzo is a community-rooted documentary currently in active production. This film honors decades of organizing and human rights advocacy in Southern Arizona — and it continues forward through collective support.

The film is currently in production. Interviews with the Mujeres and key community voices are underway, alongside archival research that documents over five decades of activism and organizing.

The team is developing a work sample to support grant applications and continued fundraising efforts. This stage includes filming, gathering historical materials, organizing footage, and shaping the narrative structure of the documentary.

As production progresses, the project is moving steadily toward post-production planning — including editing, sound design, and the development of a complete feature-length film.

Community support at this stage directly strengthens the film’s ability to be completed with care, depth, and integrity.
